PRE-CONCEPT DESIGN POSSIBILITY OF AN ISLAND / Water Mirror • mirror • lagoon • infinity • holistic “Dream of an island” defines the concept of the house. Water becomes the primary spatial element, shaping and sharing the living environment with its inhabitants. Inspired by artificial islands and waterscapes, the house is composed of pavilion-like volumes that appear as leaves gently floating above the water. A lagoon landscape connects the living spaces with the surrounding environment, creating the impression of a house existing as an island. By filling the plot with water, the boundary between architecture and pool disappears, forming a continuous reflective surface. Thick concrete shells with large openings frame views toward the sea and nature. Each pavilion offers privacy while creating a dynamic play of light, shadow, and reflections across the water. Sub-Consultants: Bollinger+Grohmann - Structural and civil engineering Edit - Archviz
