Double Fold House pre-Concept Design The project is conceived as a sculptural architectural form emerging from the landscape, where the existing hill acts as a natural pedestal. The design responds directly to the terrain, creating a strong connection between the building, its surroundings, and the expansive views toward the sea. Through this relationship, the architecture emphasizes natural integration, framed vistas, and deep shadows that enhance spatial atmosphere and environmental comfort. The folded geometry of the structure shapes both exterior and interior spaces. Depressed areas form framed public zones such as pools, gardens, and outdoor gathering spaces, while the elevated sections create the main inhabited volumes of the house. These folds frame the surrounding scenery, opening toward nearly 180 degrees of uninterrupted coastal views while allowing varying levels of privacy and distinct visual perspectives. Sub-Consultants: Bollinger+Grohmann - Structural design
