PRE-CONCEPT DESIGN MIRAGE / A Secret Promise • secret • reflection • disappearing • mirage The house is conceived as an introverted and protected dwelling defined by a single compact volume. Its highly reflective stainless-steel exterior mirrors the surrounding landscape, allowing the house to visually disappear. Behind the closed outer membrane lies a warm interior world organized around a lush central courtyard. This hidden microclimate forms the heart of the house, with all spaces oriented toward it. A single entrance punctures the reflective surface, while a mirrored pool in the landscape echoes the volume of the inner garden.
